Mahindra Scorpio N

The Scorpio N is Mahindra's body-on-frame SUV, 4,662 mm long, with seven seats or, on some Z8L versions, six. It has a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine (203 PS) or a 2.2-litre diesel (175 PS; 132 PS on the Z2 and Z4 diesel manuals), each with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic. Rear-wheel drive is standard; the Z4, Z8T and Z8L diesels are also sold with shift-on-the-fly four-wheel drive, which on the Z8T and Z8L adds the 4XPLOR terrain modes.

Every version has ESC, hill hold and hill descent control, disc brakes on all four wheels and ISOFIX mounts. The Z2, Z4 and Z6 have two airbags; the Z8S, Z8, Z8T and Z8L have six. From the Z8S up there is a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a 10.25-inch digital cluster and LED projector headlamps; the Z8 adds dual-zone climate control and keyless entry, and the Z8T ventilated front seats, a powered driver's seat and a 12-speaker Sony system. The Z8L adds a panoramic sunroof, a 540-degree camera and Level 2 driver assistance.
