The Slavia is Škoda's five-seat sedan for India, built on the MQB-A0-IN platform. This is the updated car Škoda unveiled in August 2026 and priced on 6 October 2026: 4,552 mm long on a 2,651 mm wheelbase, with a 521-litre boot and a 45-litre fuel tank. Every version is front-wheel drive and turbocharged: a 1.0 TSI three-cylinder petrol (115.57 PS, 178 Nm) with a 6-speed manual or a new 8-speed torque-converter automatic, and, on the Prestige and Monte Carlo, a 1.5 TSI four-cylinder petrol (149.56 PS, 250 Nm) with a 7-speed DSG automatic, Active Cylinder Technology and rear disc brakes. The Classic is sold only as a manual and the Monte Carlo only as an automatic.
Six airbags, ESC, tyre-pressure monitoring, ISOFIX mounts, a rear defogger and Climatronic automatic air conditioning are standard. The Classic has halogen headlamps, 15-inch steel wheels, a 17.7 cm touchscreen with wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and rear parking sensors. The Classic+ adds LED lamps, 16-inch alloy wheels, an electric sunroof, rain-sensing wipers, fog lamps and cruise control, with hill hold on the automatic. The Signature adds a 25.6 cm touchscreen with wireless phone mirroring, an AI assistant and inbuilt connectivity, a 20.32 cm digital cluster, a rear camera, front and rear parking sensors, keyless entry with push-button start, a wireless charger and rear AC vents; the Sportline adds a 360-degree camera and sportier trim. The Prestige adds a 26.03 cm digital cluster, electrically adjustable ventilated front seats, a rear-seat massage function, leatherette upholstery and an eight-speaker Škoda sound system with a subwoofer; the Monte Carlo has the Prestige's equipment with black and red styling. Global NCAP rated the earlier Slavia, which had two airbags as standard, five stars for adults and children in 2023; that result is not shown here, and Bharat NCAP has not rated the Slavia.
