Nissan Magnite

The Magnite is Nissan's five-seat compact SUV, 3,994 mm long on a 2,500 mm wheelbase, with 205 mm of ground clearance and a 336-litre boot that grows to 690 litres with the rear seat folded. It has two 1.0-litre petrol engines: a naturally aspirated one (72 PS, 96 Nm) with a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT that Nissan calls EZ-Shift, and a turbo-petrol (100 PS) with a 5-speed manual (160 Nm) or an X-Tronic CVT (152 Nm). The turbo comes with the manual gearbox from the N-Connecta and with the CVT from the Acenta.

Six airbags, electronic stability control, traction control, hill start assist, ABS with EBD, tyre-pressure monitoring, rear parking sensors and ISOFIX mounts are standard on every version, and Global NCAP rated this Magnite five stars for adult and three stars for child occupants in 2025. The Visia has 16-inch steel wheels, halogen headlamps, a 3.5-inch LCD instrument display and no touchscreen; the Visia+ adds a 9-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and a rear camera; the Acenta automatic air conditioning and remote keyless entry; the N-Connecta alloy wheels, push-button start (the turbo Acenta has it too), LED daytime running lamps, rear AC vents, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster and an 8-inch touchscreen in place of the 9-inch one; and the Tekna LED projector headlamps, LED fog lamps, cruise control (not with the AMT), a 360-degree camera and rain-sensing wipers. The Tekna+ adds ambient lighting and a brownish-orange leatherette interior. The Kuro Edition, priced between the N-Connecta and the Tekna, is an all-black special edition with LED headlamps and black alloy wheels.
