Kia Seltos

The Seltos is Kia's five-seat mid-size SUV, sold in an all-new generation that is 4,460 mm long with a 2,690 mm wheelbase and a 447-litre boot (VDA method). It has three 1.5-litre engines, all with two-wheel drive: a petrol (114.75 PS) with a 6-speed manual or Kia's IVT continuously variable automatic, a turbo-petrol (159.76 PS) with a 6-speed iMT, a manual gearbox without a clutch pedal, or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic, and a diesel (115.57 PS) with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic.

Six airbags, ESC, hill-start assist, tyre-pressure monitoring, a rear camera, cruise control, disc brakes on all four wheels and a 10.25-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are standard. The HTK(O) adds a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, front parking sensors and a wireless charger; the HTX a 12.3-inch touchscreen, dual-zone automatic climate control, ventilated front seats, connected-car features and an eight-speaker Bose system. The (A) versions add Level 2 driver assistance, a 360-degree camera and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, with adaptive cruise control on the automatics. The GTX trims, automatic only, have 18-inch wheels, LED projection headlamps and a 10-way powered driver's seat, and the GTX(O) adds a head-up display and rain-sensing wipers; X-Line versions are GTX trims with their own styling, including black-painted wheels and a black and green interior. Bharat NCAP rated this Seltos five stars for adult and child occupants in 2026.
