The Punch is a five-seat SUV, 3,876 mm long, with Tata's 1.2-litre three-cylinder Revotron petrol engine. The standard engine makes 87.8 PS and comes with a 5-speed manual or AMT. The CNG version (73.4 PS on CNG) keeps both gearboxes and carries its gas in two cylinders under the boot floor, cutting boot space from 366 to 210 litres. Two variants offer a 120 PS turbocharged petrol with a 6-speed manual.
Every variant has six airbags, ESP, hill hold, a tyre pressure monitor, ISOFIX mounts and LED headlamps. Higher trims add an 8- or 10.25-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 360-degree camera, automatic climate control, an electric sunroof on the S versions and 16-inch alloy wheels on the Accomplished trims.
