The Innova Hycross is Toyota's three-row MPV, 4,755 mm long on a 2,850 mm wheelbase, sold alongside the diesel Innova Crysta. Its 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine comes in two forms: on its own with a CVT automatic in the G-FLT, GX and GX(O), or as a strong hybrid with an electric motor, a nickel-metal hydride battery and Toyota's e-Drive transmission in the VX, VX(O), ZX and ZX(O). Toyota's certified fuel economy is 16.13 km/l for the petrol and 22.16 km/l for the hybrid. Most grades seat seven or eight; the ZX and ZX(O) seat seven.
Six airbags, stability control, hill-start assist, ISOFIX mounts, disc brakes on all four wheels, automatic LED headlamps and an electronic parking brake are standard. The GX adds an 8-inch touchscreen and a reversing camera, and the GX(O) a 360-degree camera, front and rear parking sensors, automatic climate control and fog lamps, with a 10.1-inch touchscreen on the seven-seater. The hybrid VX keeps all of that except the fog lamps and adds cruise control, tyre-pressure monitoring, paddle shifters and a 7-inch driver's display; the VX(O) adds a panoramic sunroof, fog lamps and the 10.1-inch touchscreen, and the ZX ventilated front seats, powered second-row ottoman seats, a powered driver's seat and tailgate, a nine-speaker JBL system and 18-inch wheels. The ZX(O) has Toyota Safety Sense driver assistance, including adaptive cruise control, lane tracing and blind-spot monitoring. Bharat NCAP rated the Innova Hycross five stars for adult and child occupants in 2025.
