Kia Syros

The Syros is Kia's five-seat SUV, 3,995 mm long on a 2,550 mm wheelbase, with a 45-litre fuel tank and two-wheel drive. It has two engines: a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol (120.05 PS) with a 6-speed manual or, from the HTK+, a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic; and a 1.5-litre diesel (115.57 PS) with a 6-speed manual or, from the HTK+, a 6-speed automatic. The HTX and HTX(O) are automatic only. The automatics have disc brakes on all four wheels and the manuals have rear drums.

Six airbags, ABS, ESC, hill-start assist, four rear parking sensors, ISOFIX mounts and a touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are standard. The HTE(O) adds an electric sunroof, tyre-pressure monitoring, two tweeters and 16-inch alloy wheels; the HTK(EX) LED headlamps and daytime running lights, a rear camera and roof rails; the HTK+ a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, cruise control and a sliding 60:40 rear seat; and the HTK+(O) push-button start for the manuals too, leatherette seats and a rear wiper. The HTX has a 12.3-inch touchscreen, an eight-speaker Harman Kardon system, ventilated front seats, a powered driver's seat, a wireless charger and 17-inch wheels, and the HTX(O) adds automatic climate control, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, Kia Connect 2.0 connected-car features and ventilated rear seat cushions. Bharat NCAP rated the petrol Syros five stars for adult and child occupants in 2025; the diesel versions are not covered by that rating.
