Hyundai i20

The i20 is Hyundai's five-seat hatchback, 3,995 mm long on a 2,580 mm wheelbase. Its 1.2-litre four-cylinder petrol engine comes with a 5-speed manual (83 PS) or Hyundai's iVT continuously variable automatic (88 PS), with 114.7 Nm of torque either way; the iVT is sold on the Sportz, Sportz(O), Asta(O) and Asta(O) Knight.

Six airbags, ESC, hill-start assist, ISOFIX mounts, rear parking sensors, a digital instrument cluster and tilt and telescopic steering are standard. The Magna Executive adds tyre-pressure monitoring, automatic headlamps, front and rear speakers and 15-inch wheels (Hyundai sells a 10.1-inch infotainment system for it and the Magna as an accessory), and the Magna adds an electric sunroof, LED daytime running lamps and rear AC vents. The Sportz has an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a rear camera, a smart key with push-button start, automatic climate control, cruise control and 16-inch styled steel wheels, but no sunroof; the Sportz(O) adds the sunroof and a seven-speaker Bose system, and the Asta LED headlamps, a wireless charger and 16-inch alloy wheels. The Asta(O) has a 10.25-inch touchscreen with navigation, Bluelink connected-car features and a voice-enabled sunroof, with a dashcam on the iVT. The Knight versions of the Sportz(O) and Asta(O) have black exterior details, a black interior with brass-coloured inserts and red brake calipers.
