Tata Harrier EV

The Harrier EV is the electric version of Tata's Harrier, a five-seat SUV 4,607 mm long on a 2,741 mm wheelbase, with a 502-litre boot and a small front trunk. It has a 65 or 75 kWh battery and a rear motor of 238 PS and 315 Nm; the 75 kWh Fearless+ and Empowered are also sold with a second motor at the front (158 PS) for all-wheel drive and 504 Nm, for which Tata gives 0-100 km/h in 6.3 seconds. The certified (MIDC) ranges are 538 km with the 65 kWh battery, 627 km with the 75 kWh and 622 km with two motors. On a DC fast charger it charges from 20 to 80 per cent in about 25 minutes, and a 7.2 kW AC wall box takes 9.3 or 10.7 hours from 10 to 100 per cent.

Every version has six airbags, ESP, hill hold and hill descent control, disc brakes all round, an electronic parking brake, tyre-pressure monitoring, a rear camera, a 10.25-inch digital cluster with navigation, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, connected-car features, keyless entry and cruise control. The Adventure S adds a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a panoramic sunroof and automatic headlamps and wipers; the Fearless+ a seventh airbag for the driver's knees, a 360-degree camera, front parking sensors, 19-inch wheels, fog lamps, a 10-speaker JBL system, powered and ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control and a wireless charger; and the Empowered a 14.5-inch touchscreen, Dolby Atmos, a powered tailgate, automatic parking and Level 2 driver assistance with 22 functions, including adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking and blind-spot detection. The Empowered also comes as a matte-black Stealth edition, and every version is sold with or without a 7.2 kW AC wall charger. Bharat NCAP rated the Harrier EV five stars for adult and child occupants in 2025.
