Renault Kiger

The Kiger is Renault's five-seat SUV, 3,990 mm long on a 2,500 mm wheelbase, with 205 mm of ground clearance and a 405-litre boot. It has 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engines only: the naturally aspirated Energy (72 PS, 96 Nm) with a 5-speed manual on every trim or an easy-R AMT on the Evolution, Evolution+ and Techno, and a turbo (100 PS) with a 5-speed manual (160 Nm) on the Evolution+, Techno and Emotion or an X-tronic CVT (152 Nm) on the Techno and Emotion. Renault dealers can also fit a government-approved CNG kit to manual Energy versions in some states.

Six airbags, ESP, traction control, hill-start assist, tyre-pressure monitoring, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX mounts and rear parking sensors are standard on every version. The Evolution adds an 8-inch touchscreen with wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a rear camera and rear AC vents; the Evolution+ automatic climate control, a smart access card with push-button start and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay; and the Techno LED headlamps, roof bars, power-folding mirrors and a rear wiper. The Emotion adds ventilated front seats, a 7-inch digital cluster with three drive modes, a wireless charger, cruise control, automatic headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, LED fog lamps, 16-inch alloy wheels and a multi-view camera.
