Renault Triber

The Triber is Renault's seven-seat MUV, 3,985 mm long on a 2,636 mm wheelbase, with 182 mm of ground clearance. Its third-row seats can be taken out and the second row slides, reclines and folds with a one-touch tumble; Renault gives 84 litres of luggage space with all seven seats in place and 625 litres with the third row removed. There are two 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engines: the Energy (72 PS, 96 Nm) with a 5-speed manual on every trim, or a 5-speed AMT on the Emotion, and the TCe 100 turbo (100 PS, 180 Nm) with a 5-speed manual on the Evolution, Techno and Emotion.

Six airbags, ESP, traction control, hill-start assist, tyre-pressure monitoring, rear parking sensors and ISOFIX mounts are standard, and every version has keyless entry. The Evolution adds an 8-inch touchscreen with wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, four speakers, a rear camera and AC vents for the second and third rows; the Techno roof rails, LED tail lamps, electrically adjustable mirrors and 15-inch wheels; and the Emotion LED projector headlamps with LED DRLs and fog lamps, automatic climate control, a 7-inch TFT instrument cluster, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, two tweeters, a wireless charger, a smart card with push-button start, automatic headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, front parking sensors and, with the manual gearboxes, cruise control. Renault dealers can also fit a government-approved CNG kit to manual Energy versions in some states.
